ECOLOGY & SUSTAINABILITY

Calo Farm — a multi-purpose site for off-campus educational retreats and job-training seminars, for growing fruits and vegetables, for income-generating fishponds, and for agricultural sustainability training and leadership programs for rural youth in partnership with other agencies.


EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT

COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES

Reforestation — Adopt A Tree Project in partnership with local farmers in an assigned section on the mountains of Balinsasayao.

Mushroom Project — once a highly successful on campus organic mushroom growing program but shut down due to years of covid is now looking for another chance to regrow and again provide the opportunity to be a great source of jobs and income



Eco-Butterfly Sanctuary Project — an on-campus meditative learning laboratory for various species and other insects and arthropods

Scholarships — need-based and academic scholarships for K-12 and college students


Fellowships— research and training programs for SPUD faculty and staff


Library Resources — improving the quality and accessibility of libraries


Instructional Equipment — providing media and laboratory equipment

Community Health Development Center (also known as the Amlan Clinic) — providing basic healthcare and community health education


Medicinal Garden — growing organic herbal plants to complement traditional medicine


Disaster Relief— distributing emergency funding to support recovery efforts after a natural disaster


Feeding Program — providing food assistance to migrants and refugees


Prison Ministry Project — support counseling incarcerated individuals and their families for reentry
